How long have you worked CalPac? I have worked at CalPac for 2 years.
What do you love most about teaching at CalPac? What I love most about teaching from CalPac are my students. I love the connection I build with them, I love learning from them, and I love helping them understand the content of their courses. My greatest satisfaction is when I see them make the connection of what they are learning and their lives. I also love the flexibility that CalPac offers for my students.
What is your favorite book? The Power of Your Subconscious Mind
What is your favorite candy? Three Musketeers
What toppings do you like on your pizza? Pepperoni and sausage
What are your interests outside of work? Hiking and shopping
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be and why? If I could live anywhere in the world, I would live in Italy. I would love to learn more of its history, cuisine, and enjoy living a more laid back lifestyle.
Who was your favorite teacher in school and why? My favorite teacher in school was Mr. Solvano. He was my History teacher in HS and taught me to love history and eventually major in it. He would teach history by telling stories and engaging his students.
What advice do you have for CalPac students? The advice that I have for not only CalPac students, but just students in general is to find a mentor, speak up, read for pleasure, ask questions, and learn to trust your intuition. I would also recommend to set goals, find your passion, and always choose to be kind.
